I've just spent a week in Croatia with Dan, staying in Hvar and Split and taking day trips to other Dalmatian Islands (unfortunately we only saw one real life dalmatian dog!), we also spent a day at Krka National Park which was absolutely beautiful and had the most amazing waterfalls. Perfect holiday to end the summer.
